| Medium Pressure Cone & Thread
Tubing is prepared with 60 Deg cone which makes metal-to-metal seal, and left hand threads to accept a compression collar. A gland nut secures the collar. An anti-vibration gland is used in place of the standard gland in applications where vibration or potential bending might over-stress or fatigue the tubing threads. When the gland is loosened, any residual pressure is relieved through a port hole drilled near the cone seal. MP connections are available in 1/4, 3/8, 9/16, 3/4, and 1 OD tubing sizes. It is rated to 20,000 psi. Right-hand threads are sometimes used to connect lance tips without the collar or gland.
